Ideally, as early as possible — even before you’ve bought the block or finalised your renovation ideas. Starting early gives you time to explore options, gather the right reports, and avoid costly redesigns. I can help guide your project from concept to approvals, so everything runs smoothly from the beginning.
-
As soon as possible. If you engage my services at or before the concept/drafting phase of a renovation or build, we have more flexibility to have input into the plan. Once the building documentation is complete and permits are issued, I have to work with what has been approved by council.
-
We can tailor packages to suit your needs. Only need a shed? No problem. Have a small bathroom reno? That's great! Need a full custom home design with all of the interior design trimmings. Perfect! What we do, is up to you.

Yes, I take care of the paperwork, drawings, and coordination with consultants needed for planning and building permits. I’ll also liaise with council and other professionals to make sure your project meets all the requirements and moves forward with confidence.

-
No way! Back right up. Some of my favourite clients have been mums and dads, families and regular people just like you and I. Give me a call and talk to me about your project. I bet I can add value to your build.

I’m based in Launceston, Tasmania. I offer my services to the Launceston and surrounding areas. However, it’s a small state and I can travel if required.
-
Absolutely. Many of my clients are in the early planning stage, and that’s the perfect time to begin. Good design takes time — and by starting early, you avoid rushed decisions and last-minute compromises. I’ll help you create a clear plan, so you’re ready when the time comes to build.

A feasibility review is a smart first step — especially if you're still deciding whether to buy a property or what you can do with your existing one.
I assess things like zoning, overlays, council regulations, and site conditions to help you understand what’s actually possible before you dive into design. It’s all about avoiding costly surprises and giving you clarity and confidence to move forward.
Whether you’re planning a new build or an extension, a feasibility review gives you the right information upfront to make informed decisions.
